Laziness is Not a Disability
Once again I present the idiots of the world, who think that rules laws and common decency don't belong to them.
This photo was taken at Edwards Lake, Reservoir, on the 3rd October 2012, The offender, parked BETWEEN the disables parking, right over the access walkway, which means that anyone in a wheelchair is FORCED to climb the gutter.
This photo was taken at Epping plaza on the 20th October 2012, in the P2 parking zone, which is a zone for people who have trouble walking, but don't require extra room to get in and out of vehicles.
QLC-944 (Vic)
The following vehicle, shows the front and rear of said offender to show no disabled permit and also that they must be blind because the wheelchair is quite clearly visible. Photo taken on the 21st October 2012, at 4pm at the Laurimar Woolworths, in Doreen. PAL-782 (Vic)
Now this is why it is so frustrating. The below photo was taken at exactly the same time at the set above, 4pm on the 21st October 2012. Same location. So 2 of the 3 spaces available for people with mobility issues are taken by able-bodied people This person can't be too able-bodied because I say they are blind. :(

Small things produce large shadows in the early morning sun. Taken 22nd April 2011 at Tathra, NSW
The details on the moths feelers and legs are what attracted me to this photo. Taken 25th January 2011 in Berwah, Victoria.
Look at the proboscis of this butterfly, the detail stunned me! Taken 15th February 2011 near Whittlesea
I was quick off the mark with the photo, moments after releasing the shutter, he disappeared under the pathway. Taken 20th March 2011. Curtain Bay, Victoria

Dog eat dog world of pond/lake/bird contraception
A friend rang and told me where to find some cygnet (baby
swans) I’m talking BABIES, barely walking.... and certainly fluffy and OH SO
Cute.............
Obviously it’s the ‘norm’ because the moor hens knew exactly
what to do and proceeded to share in the fun and games of getting messy and a
young moor hen took off with shell that remained.
5 minutes later and I get back to the north end of the lake to find a gentleman just crossing over the road and pulling out a loaf of bread. It turns out he feeds the birds daily at about the same time every day!

I walked the perimeter of said lake and couldn’t see the
babies. I was beginning to suspect I had been given a dud lead.
As I’m walking, I notice that the birds started calling loudly, it was about 10am.... All the birds took off to the north end of the lake. But I noticed that some moor hens remained behind. Two white ducks headed off to the north end of the lake also. Suddenly the moor hens dived into the reeds and came out carrying a duck egg, which had been pierced with a beak and was bought out to share.

That was when I was privileged enough to capture the
cygnets.
I always did wonder why I never saw ducklings around, which
is why I was so surprised to see the cygnets, I think this proves just how
lucky these cygnets are.... having such a devoted pair of parents in the Black
Swans, which pair for life.
Certainly opened up my eyes regarding nature and her way of
managing population control. Moor hens crafty enough to steal eggs, black swans
smart enough not to leave their eggs ever and white ducks silly enough to
abandon their eggs for some sweet white bread.
I hope you enjoy the photos, I know I enjoyed taken them! Please do NOT copy any of the photos on this blog - if you would like to use any photos, please leave a comment with contact details, Photos will be supplied without watermark and at full size.
